Private School Scholarships in Canada
Our scholarship programs are designed to make high-quality private education in Canada more accessible to families from Grades 1 to 12. At J. Addison School, we are committed to continuing our efforts to help those with the desire and ambition to succeed. Whether your child is a high academic achiever, a tech innovator, or a talented athlete, we provide the support they need to grow.

Entrance Scholarship
Academic Scholarship for Private School Students
The Entrance Scholarship is a monetary award based on academic merit or excellence in a specific area of study or discipline. Entrance Scholarships are awarded to students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance, as well as the ability to demonstrate creative and innovative thought and a passion for the pursuit of learning. These students should also be someone who demonstrates exceptional achievement in extracurricular activities such as the arts, athletics, and community service.
Scholarship Amount: Up to 5,000 CAD toward tuition Fees.
Eligibility: Open to all students applying to Grades 1 to 12. Applications requesting more than $5,000 CAD may require third-party financial verification.
Tomorrow's Thinkers Scholarship
Technology & Innovation Scholarship for Elementary Students
This scholarship recognizes and supports outstanding domestic elementary students who demonstrate academic excellence, creativity, and a strong motivation to explore how AI and emerging technologies can be leveraged to shape a better world. Learn More.
Scholarship Amount: Up to full tuition.
Eligibility:Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents between Grades 1 – 8.
Elite Basketball Scholarship
Canadian High School Sports Scholarship
Aligned with our mission to provide a well-rounded education, we support student-athletes striving to compete at the highest levels. Our Elite Basketball Scholarship is for talented players who demonstrate academic excellence while developing their athletic potential. Availability is limited by team capacity.
Scholarship Amount: Up to full tuition.
Eligibility: International and domestic student-athletes with a competitive background in basketball. Evaluation includes references and player history.
Renewable Regional Bursary
International Student Scholarships in Canada
As part of our ongoing efforts to support greater access to international education, this scholarship reflects our mission to nurture global citizens by offering students from select regions and diverse backgrounds the opportunity to grow through academic excellence and a truly international learning experience.
Scholarship Amount: Varies each year
Eligibility: New full-time international applicants from selected countries entering grades 4-12.
Language Proficiency Scholarship
International Student Scholarships in Canada
At J. Addison School, we recognize that language proficiency is key to academic success and a smooth transition into a new learning environment. As part of our commitment to supporting well-prepared international students, we offer a financial award for those who demonstrate strong English skills before joining our high school program. This initiative reflects our belief in rewarding dedication, encouraging excellence, and ensuring students are equipped to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
This scholarship is not available to students in which the language of instruction in their home country OR their native language is English. Applications must be submitted prior to the awarding of the scholarship, which will be deducted from tuition fees; if the application is made after starting a program at our school, the scholarship can be applied towards future tuition fees.
Scholarship Amount: 1,500 CAD toward tuition fees. Only one Language Proficiency Scholarship is awarded per student during their time at J. Addison School. This award can be combined with other scholarships.
Eligibility: International students applying for the first time to a High School program (Grades 9-12) with an IELTS score of 5.5 or higher. .
African Canadian Christian Network (ACCN) Scholarship
In partnership with the ACCN TORONTO | Black Charitable Organization, this scholarship supports Black youth committed to making a positive impact in their communities. ACCN is a coalition of Black Christian churches that focus on empowering youth through education, social development, and community leadership. The scholarship reflects our shared values of equity, opportunity, and student success.
Scholarship Amount: From 5,000 CAD up to full tuition. This scholarship is renewable based on performance and engagement.
