在加德生学校，我们认为传授给学生们的最宝贵的社会经验就是让他们积极参加社区的慈善活动。北美的西方文化和生活当中，参加社区内的慈善活动是不可缺少的一部分。我们的目标是让学生们有更多机会接触主流社会的群体，让他们也融入社区当中。 加德生学校的学生通过参加各项社区内的大小活动，增强了他们对社会的意识。
加德生学校负责组织和协调校内及社区的义务工作，学生可自由选择报名参加以完成文凭要求。
社区服务包括：
•食物银行分派物资
•支援各类慈善机构
•长者援助
•校内活动
•植树等环保项目
