在加德生學校，我們認為傳授給學生們的最寶貴的社會經驗就是讓他們積極參加社區的慈善活動。北美的西方文化和生活當中，參加社區內的慈善活動是不可缺少的一部分。我們的目標是讓學生們有更多機會接觸主流社會的群體，讓他們也融入社區當中。 加德生學校的學生通過參加各項社區內的大小活動，增強了他們對社會的意識。
加德生學校負責組織和協調校內及社區的義務工作，學生可自由選擇報名參加以完成文憑要求。
社區服務包括：
•食物銀行分派物資
•支援各類慈善機構
•長者援助
•校內活動
•植樹等環保項目
