J. Addison Students Excel in Prestigious University of Waterloo Math Contests

At J. Addison School, one of the leading private high schools in Canada, we are proud to celebrate the achievements of two of our students, Tony Chen and Sau Kit Chan, who participated in the University of Waterloo’s, Center of Education in Mathematics and Computing, Pascal, Cayley, and Fermat Math Contests (PCF) this year.

These internationally recognized math competitions challenge students to apply their problem-solving skills in unique and engaging ways, encouraging critical thinking and confidence—key qualities we nurture at J. Addison School.

A special congratulations goes to Grade 9 student Tony Chen, who placed in the top 25% of over 25,000 participants in the Pascal Contest, representing more than 1,600 schools worldwide. This remarkable accomplishment highlights both his dedication and the high academic standards we uphold at J. Addison School.

We would also like to recognize Mr. Pat Annecchiarico, our Vice-Principal, for guiding and supporting our students through the preparation and test process with care and commitment.
